Cookie Policy

Stamply only stores what is strictly necessary to make the service work. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies or cookies from social networks. That is why you don't see a cookie banner on our site.
1. What we store on your device
| Name | Type | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
sp_customer_id, stamply_customer_id | First-party cookie / local storage | A random ID that links your loyalty cards to this phone, so your stamps are still there next time. | Up to 400 days |
sp_card_…, stamply_card_… | First-party cookie / local storage | Remembers your card number at each business, so scanning the shop's QR again opens your existing card instead of a new one. | Up to 400 days |
sp_wallet_token, stamply_wallet_token | First-party cookie / local storage | Only if you link your cards to an email or phone: keeps this phone connected to your cards. | Up to 400 days |
stamply-lang | Local storage | Remembers whether you chose English or French. | Until you clear it |
| Login session (Netlify Identity) | First-party cookie / local storage | Keeps business owners logged in to their dashboard. | Until logout or expiry |
stamply-staff, stamply-counter-biz, stamply-queue | Local storage | Counter app for staff only: keeps the staff device signed in and saves stamps made offline until they can be sent. | Until logout |
All of these are "strictly necessary" under the ePrivacy rules (Luxembourg law of 30 May 2005, article 4(3)(e)): without them the loyalty card you asked for could not work. Strictly necessary storage does not need consent.
2. Visitor statistics without cookies
We count page visits with Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool hosted in the EU. Plausible sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, does not track you across websites and does not keep your IP address. We only see totals, such as how many people visited the home page.
3. Content loaded from other services
Some pages load small files from other providers. These providers receive your IP address as part of the normal internet connection, but they do not set cookies for us:
- jsDelivr — emoji images and the QR-code scanner/generator scripts.
- OpenStreetMap — the map and address search that business owners use to set their shop location in the dashboard.
- Apple and Google — when you add a card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, your phone talks directly to Apple or Google under their own privacy policies.
4. How to remove them
You can delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings (for example on iPhone: Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data). Note that if you delete them, this browser forgets your loyalty cards. Cards already added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet keep working.
5. Changes and contact
If we ever want to add cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first. Questions: support@stamplycard.com. More about how we handle personal data is in our Privacy Policy.
